Tax Return Matching ingests tax return data in order to facilitate review of the XML file that is submitted upon electronic filing. The tool assists the reviewer to quickly identify differences between the XML and the PDF the engagement team has reviewed and signed off on. When differences are found, the tool also allows the user to dig deeper into the XML in a readable format to help identify the source of any errors.
